Marvel fans are convinced that She-Hulk finale teased an exciting Bruce Banner storyline.
The ending of She-Hulk: lawyer was released on Thursday (October 13) and many viewers think the episode created a chapter for the Hulk that fans have long been requesting.
This storyline would position Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner as World War Hulk, one of the forces, if not the most unbeatable, of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
In episode two, the Hulk, in his Smart form he was introduced to Avengers: End of the gamehe leaves the Earth to “take care” of “some things” and, in the finale, he returns with a surprise in store: he has a son named Skaar.
Skaar’s arrival was welcomed with glee by fans who longed for the introduction of World War Hulk and believe this is a step in the right direction.
This is largely due to the fact that much of Marvel Comics’ World War Hulk storyline takes place on the planet Sakaar, and this is where the Hulk escaped.
A possible mockery that fans have picked up in the She-Hulk The finale comes during a meta scene that sees Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslaney) – wait for him – tap into the Disney Plus interface and meet a robotic version of Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, named KEVIN.
While talking to KEVIN, he demands that the ending play out in a different way than the robot had planned. One such request is that the Hulk not “get out of literal space to save the day in my story,” to which KEVIN replies, “But Bruce should come back to explain what he was doing …”
When Jennifer says, “We don’t need to hear any of that,” KEVIN says, “But we were about to introduce …” Jennifer interrupts him again, saying, “Save him for the movie.” Later, when the Hulk returns, he says, “I know I’ve been away in Sakaar for a while, I’ll tell you.”
Were these jokes a shrewd confirmation of World War Hulk?
Ruffalo himself acknowledged that his departure at the beginning of the series was a possible setting for the introduction of World War Hulk, telling Variety: “It certainly suggests it. There have been some conversations about what happened in the two years the Hulk abandoned Banner and the Avengers [on Sakaar]and the emergence of the Smart Hulk, which has never been given a complete answer. I think maybe we have given four sentences to that time period since then. It really is an interesting and exciting part of the story of the Hulk and the story of Banner.
“I think the trip to Sakaar is a good place to start and what it means for the idea of what the fans have been asking for: this idea of Planet Hulk or World War Hulk or just the journey that Banner and Hulk have to make come in. peace with each other.It’s really interesting to me and I feel there’s some interest in exploring it down the line.
